Rumor: Romo/Kitna split snaps in practice?

For all the posters with the smart *** comments when Romo is questioned:

In this week’s Sports Illustrated poll, 239 NFL players were asked, "Who is the Most Overrated Player in the NFL?"

Most players picked Minnesota quarterback Brett Favre (13 percent). Second was Dallas quarterback Tony Romo (10 percent).

Now keep telling yourself his stats are great and everyone else is stupid. Try watching this QB with open eyes because players who line up against him see it!

ROFL. So you think you think Romo is a bad player because people compare him with what a lot of experts claim is one of the best QBs of all time?

One thing about the comparison is accurate - they both love playing the game and it shows, and they both sometimes make bad decisions in order to try to win the game.

I wonder if I trust their opinion over yours, since they line up and play? I imagine they based their professional opinions on more than one game. You did not challenge these opinions with any substance, but then again how could you? THEIR PLAYERS! :D

All they gave was opinions ..... they did not give any substance.

If this is even legit ..... I have not seen a link to it with the names of said players yet.

how in the world can they split reps if they haven't practiced yet this week for KC?

My friend txt'd me that a while ago. if true, is this unusual or normal for practice? Is Romo's ankle injured/giving him problems?

Yes they split snaps in practice, just not evenly. Romo takes most snaps, and Kitna always gets a few snaps with the starting team. It always has been like that.

They both love playing the game when things are going great. If Romo loved playing the game so much he should have had that smile on his face during the 2 minute drill at the end of the game. Spare me that fake crap

I didnt say that, and I didnt compare the two. I just copied both, since Romo was number 2 on the list. Not sure what you mean?

Hey "tunahelper" ....... Here is the only link for a poll I could find.

http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/scott-toole/index.ssf/2009/10/post_2.html

Funny how it does not reflect what you said at all .... but does have the last two Superbowl winning QB's on it .....

"Although the poll represents a meager percentage of the player population in the NFL -- 239 were polled -- and likely does not represent a true cross-section of the players, they publish it in their magazine and it draws plenty of attention"

:lmao2:

When you are honored or in this case dishonored, amongst your peers there is no better judgement to be rendered. No matter what are opinions are the people on the field playing will always have more substance than anything we write.

Sorry you cannot mount a defense, but keep trying I will wait for more of your excuses.

Once again I focus on Romo not other players. Deflecting from the subject makes me wonder how this news makes you really feel?

I posted that since zrinkill claims he didn't see one with Brett. I think Romo is more overrated than you could ever dream actualy. But I digress

The fact that you actually think you know more about football than actual NFL players!
:lmao2:

Now I wonder if you should be coaching, since you feel your knowledge is more than the PROFESSIONALS.

My apologies for the mixup.

Can you explain how in one day Ben skipped all the other players to be number one and Brett was gone?

Could it be that the Poll is flawed? Or that the players opinion changes from day to day?

I think Romo's throwing shoulder or elbow was tweaked on a hit against the NYG.

I am not sure when he was injured, but it seems clear to me that something is not right. His throwing motion and accuracy are off. Something is not right, health wise. I wonder if his hand was re-injured?

 but keep spinning "pal"[/quote

Unlike you I am unable to tell you what a professional football is thinking, since I am not a mind reader, nor I am I a professional football player.
I am in awe of you and your knowledge which one are you?

:laugh2:

The Vikings undefeated QB is overrated. Interesting.
