If receiver Anquan Boldin hires Tom Condon as his new agent -- that's where Boldin reportedly is leaning -- might the Giants have an edge if Boldin is traded, considering Condon also represents Eli Manning? No one knows, but there's no harm in speculating. Boldin last week fired Drew Rosenhaus and soon will hire his fourth different agent since he was drafted in 2003. Boldin is not satisfied with his contract with the Cardinals -- he has $5.75 million owed him the next two years -- and through Rosenhaus has sought a mega-deal or a trade. There's been no progress, which is why Rosenhaus is gone and Condon could soon represent Boldin.

Suddenly the Cardinals will want to part with Boldin because he has the same agent as the other team's QB? To call this wild speculation is an insult to wild speculators everywhere...

I think Condon has a better chance of getting his deal redone with the cardinals than Drew "Ego" Rosenhaus, and I suspect that's what Boldin is leaning towards.

I don't think the Giants would make a play for him at this point given that they just spent 2 of their first 3 picks on recievers. I think the chance for Boldin in New York has already passed. Same with the Eagles at this point. With Jackson and Maclin now on the team, to go with Curtis and Company, I can't see them making a serious move for him anymore either.

If I remember correctly that is parcells agent also, and parcells always has talked highly of boldin.

So maybe that is a chance they take also, but the dolphins wont give up a one so who knows.

Unless he's changed I think Parcell's agent is Jimmy Sexton.

Wouldn't it be great if teams said look here we signed your a** to a deal if you didn't like it you shouldn't have signed it. He is complaining about making almost 6 mill a year are you kidding me he isn't getting any sympathy this way. :banghead: :bang2:

It's not so much the money..it's the pride. He's a probowler just like Fitzgerald and he see's Fitz getting taken care of but not him. It's just like a regular job, if you are putting in the same work and getting the same accomplishments as someone and they get a raise and you don't then it's frustrating probably.

That's where it makes the most sense. The Dullphins need to improve at the receiver position if it expects to compete with the Pats this season.

They " ain't " gonna sneak up on anybody this year.

I see your point SLATEmosphere by the way I like your boy Bron Bron but I feel if he comes back to Cleveland instead of going the free agency rout he will the same respect I have for Jordan and I am a Bulls fan so that is saying alot

Jordan had a team, Lebron does not. Kobe has a team, Lebron does not.
If the Cavs don't win it this year, I see Lebron leaving Cleveland.

Condon is a big agent so he has a number of high profile clients. Speculation that he may be headed to the Giants solely because he's represents Eli is just poor journalism.

But in this National Enquirer "anything goes" world of reporting it's par for the course.
