JJ must have been beside himself- for the first time this season there was real decent run blocking and he was not playing. It was not great- not as good as was done last season- but the best so far this season. Of course the flip side was the pass blocking was poor- Pettiti had a bad day and the rest of the line was not that much better.

They didn't fear our running game, and we didn't do anything to make them pay.

The only thing JJ was beside, was his couch. We need him on the field. He certainly has not proven very durable in his two short years. Let's hope he doesn't continue this for long. We need a dependable, talented back, not just a talented back.

Spoiled by 22.

This team has a lot of problems at this point.

It is hard to believe that a BP team puts more concentration on pass blocking then run blocking- but that is the only conclusion one can come to.
By the way- do people here blame JJ for getting rolled from behind? Since everything else is his fault.

I don't think anyone blames JJ for getting hurt. Just stating that he has been out more than he's been in over the last two years. I don't think its a matter of fault, but of fact.

It has happened in 2 seasons. A freak hit that broke a shoulder blade and getting rolled from behind. It can be argued that he has bad luck, but not that he is injury prone. Untill that roll, he was completely healthy this season.
