...to me this was as disappointing as anything last night.

I didn't expect us to shut Tiki down, because he is too good a back, but we were gashed from the opening drive.

I know our guys got physically manhandled at the LOS, but I have to believe that some of it is on our coaches. We looked like we were totally unprepared to stop their outside running game. Case in point was the 3rd down right before the half. We knew they were going to run it, yet he ran it outside for 17 yards easily. There weren't any defenders in sight until about 15 yards downfield. What happened?! Theisman even mentioned a time or two that we were confused on Defense.

Later after the last TD to Crayton, ESPN started showing a view from the camera that is above and behind the LOS and on first down Jacobs got about 7 yards in a gaping hole over left guard. For the first time I saw that they were doubling Ferguson and completely neutralizing him in the middle.

Is that something we were unprepared for? Where were James and Ayodele?

Does anyone have any idea what happened, besides the obligatory "they kicked our butts"?

How about when Jacobs basically ran through our Dline then the LBs then flattened RW near the goal line.

Now that was embarrassing.

That was easily the most disappointing thing about that game. Sure, we expect the offense to do better than it did last night, but this is one more reason why I felt like Romo was being asked to perform a miracle. Simply put, Dallas was not winning that game last night no matter who was QB.

that was the most gut-wrenching play on D... but it pales to drew's goal-line throw & decision to throw.

The defense feeds off the offense. After our D had created its own turnover, our offense gave the ball right back, that had to be deflating. What was worse though, was James dropping an easy pick that probably would have led to a FG right before halftime.

The good news is that Carolina hasn't run the ball all year. I hope this turns around for us this week. I agree this was disapointing last night, but remember that Tiki has run on everybody this year.

Roy probably played even worse yesterday than he did against the Eagles, he was horrible just about all game and really hurt us. whats surprising is that his bad tackling killed us more than anything else, although he was horrible all around

Ayodele has been truent from his duties all season, he was an expensive free agent miss, it is now evident why Jacksonville made little effort to retain his services. The Lions may have been right about Kyle Kosier as well. Rivera is old and wounded. Flozell Adams is wounded and psyched-out, Colombo is pretty much a rookie, Gurode can't perform the shotgun snap. No wonder Bledsoe was so often impaled.
