Run defense scares me

First off, I’m not discounting the win today. That was a solid team effort and the offense really showed out, which is encouraging.

But I am becoming more and more concerned with the run defense, especially the lack of support in the box. Teams have routinely run rampant against us, but the Eagles game was worse than usual, and today’s game was terrible. The DTs and LBs are getting routinely bullied

If they can’t figure this out, it will once again be a main reason we lose in the playoffs.

What’s the main issue and what can realistically be done to fix it, mid season?

its runs to the outside we can't contain. not sure what the issue is, but DEs, LBs and Safties get cut off easily and doesn't seem we get to the corner fast enough...teams have figured it out, they run the recievers down field, so the DBs backa re turned to the play and they go for the far corners and often make the turns because we can't get there fast enough. the only time we stopped those runs is when Parsons or Lawrence broke through the line before the RB made it past them, otherwise safties and DEs were blocked out.

To be honest it wasn't that bad this is probably one of the best running teams in the past 5 years and all they did was run the ball so of course they are going to get a bunch of yards. What was concerning were some of the angles they were taking and the overall health of our players. If they can't get and stay healthy we are screwed
