Run Defense Teams

I predicted a 3-2 record after 5 games, and I still see that. The league and this team's ownership and coaching staff know how important winning games against crappy teams is. The Cowboys were more desperate and focused and feasted on the worst run defense in the league (not just total yards but also yards per rush). When the Cowboys get to run over an opponent like that, everyone on offense looks better. Much cleaner pocket, partly because Ansah was missing but also because Detroit sucks so bad at defending runs that they tried to maintain their gaps even when the Boys passed.

Dak and other passers look way better on downs where there is zero pressure and tons of time. He was way more accurate today, no doubt. Let's see how he does when an opposing team gets more consistent pressure, and the Cowboys cannot just line it up and run for first downs every other play. Dak's best play was actually the one on the last drive to not only track down his fumble but throw it away after escaping the pocket.
