Run game may be different this year

That's not how rushing works. Murray got 4+ yards on fewer than 50% of his runs last year. The long runs skew the averages upward, but 1-3 yard runs are more common than 4-6 yard runs for pretty much everyone.

Yesterday, Randle had:

The problem was only 22 carries and 45 passes.
What was good was 12 of the passes were to rb's.

The giants defense is about as weak as a defense we will face, so it should not have come down to the last
seconds to win this game.
Also dallas should have had over 100 yds with one back.
It is early and I cant evaluate based on this one weird game, but I lost a littel confidence in the
Team and their philosophy.

WE will know more after they play the eagles next week.
I dont think this same stuff that beat the giants will work on the eagles.

winning the game was huge due to we were supposed to win !! to lose to giants wk 1 would have been real bad.

having 1 rb gain 100 over 2 that gain 50 each, creates a mental or psychological advantage that you wont have with the 2.

I dont think either back go into their own rhythm. I think Randle was starting to, but just didnt get the chance....

I think its important to establish that rhythm, but others, including coaches across the NFL think otherwise...

yeah the more you do something the better you get.
I think they should go with one back as the main back and if he gets winded or banged up put the other one in.
Then go back to the main guy.
they sort of did that in this game randle had 16 carries and McF 6.
I would like to see what McF does with 20-25 carries and same for randle, then we would know what they can do.

But right now I have no clue what the cowboys will do as to passing /run ratio.
Last year they pretty much balanced it, but 45/22 is not balanced or even close.

As long as they win I guess it is ok.

They threw away the formula for last year, by letting M go, so now they have do come up with new formula, and this passing to
the backs might work good, we will know after a few more games.

This game and almost losing it, and the turnovers may be a good thing, as they will now work harder at not doing some things they did in this game.
Plus they know they can lose to any team if they dont play better.
