Run or Pass vs NO

We're going into a hostile environment on primetime. Should DAL be run happy or pass happy against the Saints?

Our WRs could give the Saints secondary fits. Our O-Line could be the Kryptonite of the Saints D-Line.

It's a great thing we have choices. "Zeke 'em" or "Dak 'em"?

I say we even out run and pass vs the Saints. Keep 'em guessing.

Passing on them will be easier, even their best Cb Lattimore is struggling.

Play action pass right from the start. Early and often. Don't ever let them think they can expect the run. Just that they know it's coming.

Why not both? We have a passing attack now. As a previous poster stated, keep em' guessing. Are they gonna run or pass? Now that we have Pollard as well, we can keep Zeke fresh in and out through the game, along with Pollard getting a few good stretches in the game. You also have to see how the game plays out. Is the run D or pass D playing better? Pass D? Run the ball. Run D? Pass the ball.

Just keep doing what they’ve been doing. If they stack the box, play action. If they don’t then Zeke and Pollard and more play action.

Kellen has failed it back a bit after the giants game, but this is a game where we should do more shifting, motioning and confusion.

There is a time and place for everything.

The saints are going to wanna blitz. That could work in kellens favor.

They're going to use Kamara to keep.our potent offense off the field. We'll probably do the same.

Saints have a decent pass rush but are not good against the run. The CBs are not good either and have been lit up a couple of times this year. I expect Moore will attack all 3 levels like he has the previous 3 weeks. I would not be surprised they start with the run early but then quickly switch to the pass to try to get up early. Then release Zeke to wear down the DL and chew clock. This will put more pressure on Bridgewater to air it out which is not his strength.

I could see us running the ball first to quiet the crowd, and to set up play action.

If they are playing 2 or 3 deep, then you have to take what they give you. Short passes and runs. If they put 8 in the box, Dak has to air it out.

They probably don't fear Dak, but they will soon will.

When that happens (and I agree that it will), its really going to challenge Moore. Dallas will see more coverage defenses and spies to stop Dak from running. His worst throw all season was the interception where he had forever to throw. Teams might totally change things up to try to dare Dallas to grind out long possessions 5 to 8 yards at a time without getting a holding penalty.

I think it would be wise to pass first to set up the run, then run to set up the pass, then pass to set up the run......you get the idea...

Gotta pass to set up the run but obviously a balanced attack. Keep them on their heels. Continue with heavy play action, feed Zeke/pollard. All the above.

If Drew was playing, you know we'd be pounding the rock to keep him sidelined...
