Its just that simple. Not saying run it nonstop, just the customary 42- 45% of the time , you know,...like what would be considered a NORMAL thing for a winning team to do. The penalty and execution problem still need to be addressed, but if we dont run the ball........were not winning much of anything.

What really drives me crazy is we have CHOSEN this path as a team, in no way did we have to pass this much. Goes so against conventional NFL wisdom that its unreal.

I suspect we planned to run more Sunday, and using Felix more prominantly was part of that, but we were playing catchup all day.

WRONG! Fact is the Dallas Cowboys have the most passing attempts per game in the entire NFL.....44. Only six teams have less rushing attempts per game than we do.... 23

We are throwing the ball almost twice as much as we are running it. THAT.....is crazy. Not going to win a darn thing with playcalling like that. Thats silly arena ball stuff right there. And its NOT because we are behind in games either, thats absurd. Its because we are CHOOSING TO THROW THE BALL THAT MUCH. Successful championship type teams rush the ball around 40-45% of the time. You also kill your quarterback's arm with all that passing. That's why it's so crucial to get the running game to click.
