Running Back Observations

Buddy, if you think ZEke is fast for a RB, then you are completely delusional. There is not "opinion" about Zeke's speed. He is SLOW for an NFL running back.

And I see you avoided a simple question: Why does Zeke not have many long runs if he is fast?

I see you are back to the insults once you are shown you are wrong.

so if someone disagrees with you they do not belong in the conversation.

Yes I moved on from this now.

Roy, Hang on... Let him go check his stats sheets...

This lady agree's with you 110% Johnny.

Pollard Season Salary: $796,945
Elliotts Season Salary: $12,400,000

When Pollard entered the league in 2019, he was already a known commodity as a pass catcher who could also run the ball. It would make a lot of sense for Dallas to use him consistently as a receiver given the question marks at the wide receiver position currently. Pollard is better & more useful as the back for the buck!

That's why they grabbed Cooper in 2018. To take Dallas over the top. He was a special one too.
2yd Zeke needs to go far away. That's what my wife calls him and she graduated from Ohio State. Hell, our dog is named Elliott. sheesh!

Does elliot have a bad contract, yes.

Is it as bad as Christian mccaffrey,no

Is Elliot still an elite rb, questionable

Can Elliot still get hard yard and make a big difference, 100%

Bottom line is zekes time with the team is winding down and they will get as much out of him this year as possible...he overpaid but the hard yards are also underappreciated
Are you building some kind of straw man argument?
Look at all the top running backs in the league and tell me which ones are first round picks?

Jonathan Taylor
Henry - same draft as Zeke btw
Chubb
Dalvin Cook
Alvin Kamara
Austin Ekeler
Joe Mixon
Aaron Jones

There is too much talent at the RB position where you Never spend a top 10 pick on that guy. You need to draft what is hard to get in the later rounds.
pass rushers, Offensive lineman, CB.. You are looking for guys who you will gladly give a 2nd contract to.

You have never shown me to be wrong. You just keep pronouncing it with nothing to back it up. LOL

I will ask you again............if ZEke is so fast then how come he doenst have many long runs and he gets caught easily?

Either answer the question with a legitimate answer or admit you are wrong.

I'm glad we have Zeke as our 1RB. I think he is elite and so he deserved to be paid accordingly. Many of you disagree, so be it. What a boring world it would be if we all agreed on everything. So I celebrate our differing opinions.

I think we are talking about two entirely different things. I agree with you that we shouldn’t be spending a too 10 pick on a rb 100%

however since we have zeke my point was that statically speaking he is performing at a high to very high level, albeit on a bad contract.

I have no desire to ever spend a 1st on a rb again not pay one like we did zeke, but I think the guy gets a bad rap when his numbers say otherwise. If he wasn’t so overpaid I don’t think many here would have as big of an issue
