Do you think we can establish a running game tomorrow? And how important do you think establishing and maintaining a run game is to achieving victory?

I don't think they will even try too hard. Maybe run a few in the 1st qtr but after that.....we may be chasing most of the night. This game will be won or lost through the air IMO.

I'm afraid you're right, I think they don't even care about pretending anymore and we don't see much of a run game at all the rest of the season

Very important, need to keep Saints offense on sideline. Need a big dose of Murray and some ball control.

I agree... Hopefully the saints don't jump out early and we have to play catch up all game. Important that the d gets a chance to catch their breath

On defense need to pressure and hit the QB, need to rush a linebacker a lot and bring it today on defense.

Murray could be back to early season form with his rest and rehab, that might be a contributing factor in run game emphasis. I hope that Rob falls back into his 3 rusher ways, what a nightmare that was.

I think from the start, they will try to establish some run game and if it's effective, then they will mix it up. However, if run game gets stalled, I could see them abandoning it like they did against the Vikings, also, if we get behind then there won't be much of runs, will be all passes.

The Cowboys need to keep Drew Brees off the field one way or another, take that however you wish.

I'm sure it was a point of emphasis for the Saints this week. They were ran over by the Jets and Rob knows we'll be looking to run a lot after last weeks odd split. I'd expect them to load the box early in this one.

Would be great to get our running game going - saints have the 2nd worst
yds / carry in the league.

I do hope that we pass from center on 1st downs for awhile, they will load the box on our first snap for sure.

We are going to find out tonight if this team will be able to move forward in the future with Garrett and Callahan running things. This game is similar to the Denver game in that DAL will have to match NO point for point to win. There's no way our beat up defense is going to stop that offense. This means play wide open and attacking like against Denver. Rob Ryan can puff his chest out all day but the bottom line is his defense isn't any good. Dallas can score against these guys. If Garrett and Callahan come out and try to play keep away from Brees with the run game instead of opening things up that, to me, is yet another indictment that Garrett as the leader of this team is not smart enough to coach in this league. I understand you do have to run it but in 2013 this team has proven it is not wiling or able to do it. If Garrett cannot see that this game has Denver part. II written all over it and plan accordingly then he has no feel for the circumstances of any game as a head coach. We all know he's been less than stellar in late game situations. Not going wide open from the start of this one tells me he just isn't football smart in any way. Having said all that I can't see Dallas coming out on top in this one. I hope they prove me wrong but Brees is just too tough in that building.

I would like to think that they are going to try and do that. I saw that last week they attempted to bring back the draw play with Dunbar. I really like how we used to execute that play in the past. We really need to get more toss sweeps with Dunbar and get the edge with him. I think he is on the verge of exploding one. But again, you got to give him the chance....

I also think that we will give Murray more chances today as well. I think that he was still a little bit banged up, and maybe that is why we really only ran 9 times last week.

If we can get a little bit of running game going, our play action passes will open up a ton of stuff for Witten and Dez. This is what of course I'm hoping for. If we can get some running going, score on some long drives, and keep Brees off the field we might have a chance to sneak one out tonight......
