Running of the Bulls or idiots you decide?

What can I tell you man? I was a thrill seeker for a long time and did a lot of cool things. I consider that a life experience and if I had ever made it to Spain for the Festival of San Fermin, I would have done that.

It probably still wouldn't be the craziest thing I ever did. I'd tell you what that is, but I know what happens when I tell stories here.

...I have never made it to Pamplona, but I did go to Bunol for Tomatina.

I think you would enjoy that one.

At my age bulls and myself are not a good mix.

Call me stupid, idiot, whatever.... but given the chance, I would do this in a heartbeat. I'm of Spanish descent, so I guess it peaks my interest a little more than others, but there is very minimal chance to get hurt from this and most of all, it's a great experience and story to tell.

+1 ... I just don't get the appeal; proves nothing, IMO.

Wanna be a respected man, or woman? Be honest, be naturally courageous when it counts, work hard (to the best of your ability) in whatever you are tasked to do, treat those you know and meet with love and respect. Running or standing in front of bulls is no substitute.

PAMPLONA, Spain – A bull gored two Britons and an American during the running of the bulls through the streets of the northern Spanish city of Pamplona on Monday, officials said.

Thousands of daredevil runners charged for the third day ahead of six fighting bulls of the annual San Fermin festival on Monday, when the three were gored by an animal that broke free from the pack just before entering the city's bullring, a Navarre regional government statement said.

The bull charged the runners as they huddled on the ground beside a wooden fence, trying to protect themselves from the beast. After several moments of tension, the animal was lured away by stick-wielding cowherds. None of the three was seriously injured.

The morning runs are the highlight of the annual San Fermin festival, which became world famous with the publication of Ernest Hemingway's 1926 novel "The Sun Also Rises."

The regional government said one Briton, aged 20, was gored in the right leg while the other, aged 29, was gored in the left leg. The American, 38, from Philadelphia, was gored in the right calf muscle.

Not really sure why some are being so hard on those who choose to do this? Obviously it's being done for the adrenaline rush and you're in much better position to control your fate than some other thrill-seeking activities.

Now just how much you tempt the bull might be another matter.

I like the fact people do it, it makes for a good laugh when the bull gets them.
