Rush won't get the starting job through wins alone. It takes a Dak loss to do that

Rush could be 6-0 or 9-0 as a starter and it still won't do.

The only thing that will get him the starting job is if Dak comes back and plays terribly. No amount of Rush wins alone would suffice.

I'm sure Jerry has already let McCarthy know that Dak starts when healthy. Win or lose, Dak is the starter until his contract ends.

Dak needs to have the same 50-50 rub/pass game plan that Cooper Rush has been given.

Not gonna totally exonerate Dak for his mistakes, but Kellen Moore's play calling hasn't exactly been doing Prescott any favors.

Winning is fun, and I hope it continues no matter who plays QB, but the offense needs to improve if we want to win in January.

102 yards passing and one offensive TD, thanks to a long Pollard run, is asking a lot of the defense.

At least the offense has been avoiding turnovers. That's no small thing. They're not putting the defense in bad spots.

It’s a shame that winning is not good enough for Cowboy fans.

Well, Rush's starting record is misleading. The offense needs Dak back. These last 2 weeks especially have shown they need to be more efficient and score more points. You can't ask the defense to win every week in a scoring league.

"Arrrr ahhhh arrr I payed him now you're gonna play him even if he can't hit the broad side of a barn and we lose the final games arrrrr cuz I don't want to look stoooopid hiccup...now back to the stripper bus....." ----- Jerral Wayne Jones

I don’t know how because I’m technology challenged but please mark this reply for future reference.

I like Rush i really do.....but hes not running the offense like a well oiled machine

hes doing everything you ask your backup to do....dont make mistakes at critical times on 3rd and long make a short throw for 5 or 7 and set up a punt....
3rd down and short hand off or hit a slant

hes not putting up 30,35 and we're going to need that.....the defense isnt going to hold every team under 20 thats not how the nfl is set up

Let’s be honest here with as much money as they pay Dak? There is nothing Rush can do to win this job.

Exxxaaaaactly!

Except for the part about Kellen Moore. Moore had Dak leading the number 1 offense last season, which says quite a bit more about Moore than people want to acknowledge.

Guy is good.
