This draft has no trades, so these would be the picks if no picks get traded. This is my 3.0. there will be videos this time where possible

12.
Tyler Booker
OG Alabama
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/tyler-booker/3200424f-4f05-3216-dcbe-0b23974f3ac7

20 year old guard who plays left guard but can play RG. Given his age, he should be able to play a while. He's excellent at run blocking, and I think he'd be a good replacement for Martin. If we want to run the ball more and be better in the RedZone, then Booker should be the pick if we don't trade down.

44.
Kaleb Johnson
RB Iowa
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/kaleb-johnson/32004a4f-4839-8805-a441-bdb3ea3187ea

Tough quick running back who would make a good lead back for us. He pairs well with us going Booker round 1. We would have a solid back who would be able to follow a lead block from Booker. I think the offense would be much better with Booker and Kaleb Johnson. It would fit what Schotty says he wants to do, and we can be better with the play action.

76.
Alfred Collins
DT Texas
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/alfred-collins/3200434f-4c48-0656-eb0f-b6c850a0a131

Beast of a NT. He'd greatly improve our ability to stop the run. Plus, for his size, he's quick.

149.
Sebastian Castro
S Iowa
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/sebastian-castro/32004341-5381-3611-9e55-08d9a0995265

An underrated safety with great skills. He's excellent at run stopping, and he's basically your prototypical strong safety. We can never have enough safeties.

171.
Nick Nash
WR San Jose State
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/nick-nash/32004e41-5338-4527-25f6-56e5009325dd

Good tall wr who can be a good option to play the 2 spot with Tolbert. I think he would be a steal at this spot.

174.
Teddye Buchanan

Mentioned this linebacker frequently. Can never have enough linebackers.

Small school CB who is quick and could be a sleeper. I think he'd be a good replacement for Lewis.

211.

Good 3T DT who I think would do well rotating with Osa.

239.
Kurtis Rourke

Mentioned this Canadian QB many times. I think he's an underrated QB who would make a good backup behind Dak.

247.
Nick Martin
LB Oklahoma State

Solid linebacker who makes a good option. As stated previously, can never have enough linebackers, so why not use our last pick on another linebacker?

So, with this draft, I think we would have a great replacement option for Martin, a beast of a back, a NT to stop the run, a strong safety, a couple of linebackers, an underrated corner, an underrated 3T, and a backup QB behind Dak. I would say this would be an efficient draft for having no trade downs.

Running game was served with Booker n Kaleb, then Collins at NT, trenches first draft.

Castro n Cash are depth pieces that raises the floor at S and WR.

LBs Buchanan n Martin are two guys I like at the position. Like other rookies, these guys add more quality depth and push weaker players out strengthening the LB room.

Definitely, and I think, with that, this draft, we would improve our big weaknesses. We'd probably need another draft to get back to being competitive, but this would help.

That is another solid draft Tyler Booker is a beast of a right guard prospect and Kaleb Johnson at running back good player. And Alfred Collins and Aeneas Peebles are good defensive tackles.Good draft Rusty.

All the way to the bank

I really like this draft outside of pick1(I like the player I just can't get behind OL in round 1, again)

I think Buchanon and Frazier are great picks, very good athletes, lots of playing time in college, special teams guys day 1 and can develop into starters.

I can understand your hesitation for oline round 1, but I think Booker would make sense. Given the retirement of Martin and the need to run the ball better, it would be a logical choice to take Booker, especially since we'd get the 5th year option with him. So, if we go oline without a trade down, I'd love it to be Booker or Membou of Missouri.

I think Dallas should be like the Eagles except for Oline players. They have a strong track record minus Guyton of selecting good Oline prospects as the Eagles do with Dlinemen. So they might as well continue to fortify the position.

Although personally an OG wouldn’t be my 1st choice for pick 12.

I like the majority of the picks.
Good job @RustyBourneHorse

I think whoever gets Nick Martin is going to get a heck of a player.
If not for his injuries this past season he would be much higher.

Definitely agree about Martin. Getting him and Buchanan would be a nice double dip at linebacker...and area we never have enough depth it seems.

I get that guard wouldn't be the first choice without a trade down, but, since I was working with a no trade down parameter for this mock draft, then I had to pick who I thought was the best player available. To me, I debated either Booker or a tackle I saw that was available. I ultimately went guard because we don't really have a vacancy at tackle and I think Booker is an excellent prospect. Bear in mind, we used a 9th overall pick on Tyron Smith, and that worked out great.

Like the draft, just can't say I love taking a guard in the top half of round 1, without knowing the board.

Feel like you don't need the 1st round to land good interior OL. And between Hoffman, Bass and Richard, it's not like they don't have anyone to fill the RG spot.
Martin missed the 2nd half of last year and we saw Hoffman play in his spot. Next HOF guard? NOPE. But was he out there getting beat like a drum? No.

If it was between a guard and a OT, I'll take the OT, even not an immediate need. Guyton is TBD as a tackle and if he's better suited for the left or right side.
Steele is a better run blocker than pass blocker, but if Guyton shows he's a ROT in the NFL, getting a potential LOT this draft would pay dividends by 2026.

That's valid. I just feel like, with how good Martin was, a guard early isn't a bad idea. That said, especially since we could free up cap space with a June 1 cut of Steele, then maybe a LT would be good. Fwiw, part of the reason I went guard (besides Martin) was because I am trying to build the team to where, come next year, maybe we can take a QB round 1 and let him develop behind Dak while other key areas get built. This draft is mainly getting the team ready. Or at least, that's my strategy behind getting the trenches built, getting an improved run game, and the other aspects that I drafted here.

Plus, if I were to trade down, then my second round pick would be Savaiinea, who I've mentioned many times here. I think he's an excellent prospect.

I wouldn't hate it one bit. I too would prefer something beside OL at 12 but I understand that it is absolutely a possibility to happen depending on how the board falls. I think we need to get our dominate OL back to help the run game and the offense as a whole. But I also think we may have the guys in house already. If Guyton takes the step up I feel confident that between Beebe, Hoffman, Richards and Thomas we have C and RG at least solid, at worst.
So saying that, I don't know how your board fell when you made this mock, but I'd be tempted to take either a DE or a WR at 12 and take OL later.
