This will have undrafted free agents as well.

1. (26) T Anton Harrison Oklahoma

https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Anton-Harrison-OL-Oklahoma

6'4" 315 lbs

Anton Harrison is an offensive tackle who allows us to potentially replace Tyron Smith when he gets injured and allows Tyler Smith to focus on LG

2. (56) DE Adetiwoma Adewoma Northwestern

6'2" 282 lbs https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Adetomiwa-Adebawore-DL-Northwestern

This move gives us a bit more pass rush. We'd have a nice pass rush option opposite DLaw.

3. (90) WR A.T. Perry Wake Forest

https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/AT-Perry-WR-WakeForest

6'3" 198 lbs -

Perry gives us a WR option who can allow us to rotate Lamb with the outside and slot. This gives us a really nice ability to keep defences on their toes.

4. (129) RB Dewayne McBride UAB

https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/DeWayne-McBride-RB-UAB

5'10" 209 lbs - replacement for Zeke.

5. (162) TE Zach Kuntz Old Dominion

6'7" 265 lbs - Replacement for Schultz. He's a tall TE who has very good hands.

5. (169) NT Broderic Martin Western Kentucky

https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Brodric-Martin-DT-WesternKentucky

6'5" 337 lbs - Excellent measurables. Gives us a monster NT. He'd allow us to clog the middle and shut down rushing attempts.

5. (175) OG Chandler Zavala NC State

https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Chandler-Zavala-OG-NCState

6'5" 325 lbs - gives us improved depth at guard. In case an injury happens to one of our guards or if Steele gets hurt, Zach Martin can be moved to RT and Zavala takes over.

6. (212) C Jake Andrews Troy

https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Jake-Andrews-OL-Troy

6'2 305 lbs - gives us depth at C behind Biadisz.

7. (245) FB Hunter Luepke North Dakota State

6'1" 230 lbs - gives us a true FB

Now we come to my top 5 UDFA list, these are players I would like us to sign at UDFA (Don't worry, I won't mention the Japanese kickers here):

Jake Butt K Michigan

We found Dan Bailey through UDFA

NT Kondre Coburn Texas

https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Keondre-Coburn-DL-Texas

6'1" 332 lbs - another NT. Never a bad thing to have extra depth to take into camp.

QB Logan Bonner Utah State

WR Mitchell Tinsley Penn State - 6'0" 199 lbs

https://youtu.be/zVMGVJ2gpxc

LB Auburn Miller Jr Jackson State
https://gojsutigers.com/sports/football/roster/aubrey-miller-jr-/2067

Gives us LB depth

What do you all think?

Not a big fan but appreciate the effort. Way too many small-school projects for my taste.

Feels like the Kavika Pittman and Ebeneezer Ekuban type drafts of the mid-to-late 90s drafts, right after Jimmy left.

To your credit, I could see Will McClay being intrigued by Adetiwoma Adewoma. Stephen would pass out talking about his position flex.

I see your point after round 3. I think Harrison is a big school option that fits what we will need as we prepare for life after Tyron Smith. Not sure Wake Forest is necessarily a small school, plus, I very much like JT Perry. Though, I was very much debating between him and Michael Wilson from Stanford. I think the NT from WKU would be a nice addition. I know UAB is a small school, but I like how shifty the back is. He's a very underrated back imo. As for the TE, I know he's a small school prospect, but I love his measurables and what I saw in his video.

I don’t dislike Harrison as a prospect in general, but your logic on the pick makes 0 sense to me. We drafted Tyler in the 1st round last year and after a largely successful year as a rookie LT…you want to replace him with another late 1st round rookie? No thanks. We can get a guard for depth and to develop later. With Tyron back I don’t see how OL makes sense in the 1st unless there’s overwhelming value, which is not how I’d describe Harrison at 26.

Harrison allowed 4 sacks in over 1000 college snaps. Is a freaky athlete who will get to second level with ease. He is rising so he wont get to us but I would take him in a second.

I'm not replacing Tyler. I'm talking about replacing Tyron. Tyler did well at guard. So, getting Harrison means that Tyler can focus on playing guard while we have a tackle that can play LT, especially when Tyron goes down. I'd have gone guard, but that would require a trade down into the second round for the guard I have in mind to make sense. Plus, I ended up getting a guard later in the draft as a depth choice in case we have to shuffle the line or in case we need someone to fill in for an injury.

Thanks for your effort for my enjoyment. It’s a different approach to the drafting I would take because we already have three starting caliber offensive tackles on the team. And we need starting interior offensive line but I could live with the draft

I appreciate that. I'd like to have gone with a guard, but the best guard in the draft, who I'd also like, is Peter Skoronski from Northwestern. He was the other player I had in mind. However, this would require a short trade down to make more sensible and this mock draft is not one with any trades. I thus figured that Tyler Smith could play guard, and Harrison allows us to setup the replacement of Tyron. Plus, we could make Tyron also a June 1 cut to save on cap space if needed, so, this would be a move that creates cap space too.

Tyler started every game last year and stayed at Left Tackle even when Tyron came back. IIRC there was a game or two where he was kicked inside, but Tyron still stayed on the right side.

I would think the team sees him as the future at Left Tackle. What he did as a rookie IMO warrants him the favorite to stay there and have a full offseason to work on his craft.
He started 16 games at LT, before the week 18 game where Biadaz was out and they shuffled him to guard.

The team thought he was the future at Left tackle when they drafted him. I can't see the team reversing their course.
