Perhaps, but, what I think we need from him is to just clog the middle so we can stop the run. That he is very good at. So, I figured either him or Mazi Smith would be a good choice at 56.

As for the workout, my concern isn't really with his speed. I don't expect him to be quick. I just expect him to be able to take on 2-3 blocks, clog the middle, and stop the run. I'm not expecting him to get a lot of sacks. Just shut down the run, and the rest of the defence can take it from there with the skill our defence has.

IIRC Vorhees was considered a top 60 prospect before the injury. Taking him in the 4th probably is still good value, even with a redshirt year.

Could see Ika drop more if he's thought just to be a plugger. Slaton is his comp on NFLDB and he was taken in the 5th round.

I mean, I'd happily take Ika as a 3rd if he drops. As for Vorhees, true, though I didn't know about his injury at the combine. But yes, especially since I took another guard in round 6, he'd have time to heal and use this season as a redshirt year, and he was a top prospect before the injury. So, it might be worth it to take him there still anyway since he could sit and learn while Tyler continues to play LG. If needed, Mafi might be able to step in for a few games to take over if Tyler has to move to LT until Vorhees is healthy.

No, I have not, though he seems to be very good at stopping the run at least from what I've seen.
