Traded down with the Bengals. Will do a 2 trade down mock draft in a few days or so. Maybe tomorrow. Enjoy
17.
Tetairoa McMillan
WR Arizona
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/tetairoa-mcmillan/32004d43-4d51-4957-830f-234e646a998f
6'4" WR who would pair well with CeeDee Lamb. Our top 2 WRs would be night and day better than last season.
44.
Jonah Savaiinaea
OT Arizona
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jonah-savaiinaea/32005341-5629-2109-a411-9050c58f1ecf
Samoan olineman who can replace Martin very nicely. I love the way he blocks, and I think we'd be able to run the ball well. Plus, he's built to play RG. He's the perfect replacement for Martin.
47.
Kaleb Johnson
RB Iowa
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/kaleb-johnson/32004a4f-4839-8805-a441-bdb3ea3187ea
Excellent upgrade at RB. He'd be a good lead back for us. Between Savainnaea and Johnson, our run game would be much better. Plus, factor in McMillan and Lamb, and the playaction will be wide open for us to use, a major strength of Dak's.
76.
Alfred Collins
DT Texas
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/alfred-collins/3200434f-4c48-0656-eb0f-b6c850a0a131
Massive NT who can clog the middle. He's not a pass rusher, but I'm not taking a NT to rush the passer. His job is to clog the middle to stop the run and prevent the QB from stepping up. Between the NFC East, AFC West, and NFC North (who we play this year), this will be critical.
119.
Cobee Bryant
CB Kansas
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/cobee-bryant/32004252-5931-4399-7e5f-199439eb6b6e
Solid replacement option for Lewis. He's good at helping in run support, and he's also a good ball player who can intercept the ball well.
149.
Sebastian Castro
S Iowa
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/sebastian-castro/32004341-5381-3611-9e55-08d9a0995265
A good safety option. Never underestimate the need for a safety, and, given the WRs we have in our division, we will want a safety. Castro is good playing the ball as well as stopping the run.
171.
Teddye Buchanan
LB California
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/teddye-buchanan/32004255-4322-1280-615f-e0ff6a162892
Mentioned this player multiple times, but I want this linebacker on our team.
174.
Nick Nash
WR San Jose State
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/nick-nash/32004e41-5338-4527-25f6-56e5009325dd
Solid WR who gives us another weapon. Lamb, McMillan, Tolbert, Nash, Turpin, and Campbell would be an insanely good group of WRs. All of a sudden, we'd have a lot of weapons in our arsenal for offense and we'd be able to run the ball better.
204.
Jay Higgins
LB Iowa
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jay-higgins/32004849-4722-6102-1624-b21189e2f7bc
Excellent tackler. Can never have enough linebackers, especially with how thin we are at linebacker. Higgins and Buchanan would be a nice duo of new linebackers who can help us in a variety of ways.
211.
Ty Hamilton
DT Ohio State
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/ty-hamilton/32004841-4d36-0450-ee10-d4ae78ee2bb2
A 3T who would do well to rotate with Mazi and Osa.
239.
Kurtis Rourke
QB Indiana
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/kurtis-rourke/3200524f-5526-6938-2bf5-3db923fa6a15
Mentioned this Canadian QB many times.
247.
Nazir Stackhouse
DT Georgia
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/nazir-stackhouse/32005354-4106-5527-dc9f-00887a740714
Another block eating NT. Collins as the starter and Stackhouse rotating should keep them both fresh well, and we'd be much better at stopping the run.
I think this draft allows us to spread the ball better with more weapons, run the ball better, use the playaction (one of Dak's biggest strengths), stopping the run, and we'd be better able to defend the pass. This draft would give us a much better team.
