Rutger Hauer has died. He was 75

I really like his old stuff. The Hitcher and Blade Runner are classics.

He was awesome alongside Michelle Pfeiffer in Ladyhawke.

It was a small movie that was not well made but Hauer played the main role in a film called Blind Fury. His character was a Vietnam War soldier, who was blinded in a battle while his best buddy (who was a chemist) deserted him in the midst of the fight. He was found alive and nursed back to health by a martial arts master, who trained him in sword fighting. Hauer returned to the states wanting to tell his buddy simply that he forgave him but ended up saving both his friend and friend's young son from a drug dealer wanting to create a synthetic drug.

Hauer positively shines in the role. BF may even be seen by some as a B-movie but he did a great job nonetheless.

Rest in peace, Mr. Hauer.

"Hobo With A Shotgun" was one of those bad B movies that was over the top, but was great because of Rutger Hauer. One of those B movies that became a cult favorite.

Hell yes! Totally forgot that movie. That was awesome!
