Anyone on Rutgers we might draft? I watched the Louisville game last night, Brohm looks like the #1 pick.

Rutgers and Navy also known as the tough part of Notre Dames schedule

Ummm...their schedule was ranked 9th toughest in the country for division 1 preseason. Nice jab though.

...on a side note, Texas' schedule was in the "easiest"schedule category.

My team's schedule is somewhere around 115 and I doubt they win more than 2 or 3 :(

Jump on The Bandwagon; Literally: Sooner Fans Among Least Educated

Norman, OK – A new study released last month by the Sports Statistics Foundation, a research and statistical think-tank based in Dallas, Texas, shows that Sooner fans are among the least educated in the nation, and dead last in the Big 12.

The study was commissioned by the Big 12 last year to assist the sports marketing department. "We thought the information would be valuable in determining where to place our TV, radio, and print advertisements", said Bill Brenner, Big 12 Executive Director, "but we never expected these results."

The study looked at the percentage of each school's fans that have a college education. Only 4.7% of sports fans identifying themselves with The University of Oklahoma had completed a college degree, lowest among the Big 12 teams. OU ranked in the lower 5th percentile nationally. Additionally OU ranked 3rd in the nation in number of high school dropouts claiming allegiance to the school as a percentage of the total fan base.

honestly I dont see all the hype over Brohm...sure he looks great throwing lob passes to guys who have nobody near him, but what happens when he faces real DL's and DB's?

I havent watched all of either of their first two games, but I havent seen him make one throw (this yr or last yr) where I thought "wow", "what a talent"...he really looks like a moderately talented QB who is taking advantage of a tremendous scheme against incredibly outmanned opponents more than anything else

You should've watched last night's game then.

He made some pretty darn nice throws. He definitely has an arm....He was far from lobbing anything.

His best throw was an incompletion to Urrutia. He had a man in his face, and blazed the ball between three defenders. He hit a crossing Urrutia right in the gut with the pass, but Urrutia dropped it.

I watched some of it, not all of it

and like I said...the vast majority of what I've seen from him is lobbing balls to wide open guys

he is not a 5-star QB prospect IMO...I'm quite sure he will be over drafted though, as most QB's with above average talent are

Rutgers is pounding Navy physically. Navy has a 200 pound linebacker getting abused all night. Navy offense respectable.

Ray Rice has 81 yards at half. He's a serious top 10 prospect.

I totally agree. I saw him last year, and all I could think was that his arm wasn't very good. At least, not very good for a supposed #1 overall pick.

And with all due respect to the guys who are going to become officers and protect our country, and I mean that... You can't judge anything against a team that some high schools in this country could probably beat.

I love watching Navy football...but they're never going to be able to recruit athletes like other Division I teams. They're quite respectable when that is taken into consideration. I challenge anyone to find a running offense that is more enjoyable to watch.

That being said, Navy's defense hasn't been competetive with the big schools since the late 1960's...judging Rice's performance based on this game is pretty scetchy.

I like Rice as much as the next guy, but I doubt he goes before McFadden or Slaton. I'd say based upon last year and his potential this year, that he's probably picked between 20-30 next april.
