Brooks Reed - DL - Player Arizona DE Brooks Reed's 1.54 ten-yard split at the Scouting Combine was by far the fastest recorded by pass rushers in Indianapolis.
To put this in even greater perspective, Reed cleared ten yards quicker than A.J. Green, Jerrel Jernigan, Von Miller, and Randall Cobb. Reed's ten-yard split is Clay Matthews-like, which is ironic as the two are commonly compared. At 6-foot-3 and 263 pounds, Reed projects as a 3-4 outside linebacker in the league and has emerged as a sleeper for the first round.

Joe is there a place I can go to look at 10 yard splits?

Thanks for all your postings; I'm falling behind.

Good god, seems like every player I have target in round 3-5 are now on the "verge" of the 1st round.

If there are 22 players with first round grades, what are we up to now?

try nflnetwork.com

look for videos, then search there, best i remember players videos are there, and combine footage

Brooks Reed is not a 1st round player. If he is a 2nd round pick someone is paying too much for a whistle. Decent player but not that kind of gas.

No kiddin'...

Brooks Reed is about to become a 2nd rounder while I've had him as a 5th in 2 of my mocks, including one before the Senior Bowl game when he burst into the scene.

Was hoping the Boys would look at Reed in the 3rd or 4th....

Possible 1st rounder?? Wow

So my question is:

How many people had similiar 10 yard splits before and after Matthews that didn't pan out?

That is an interesting question

The meaning of the word "ironic" generally is the same as the word "unexpected."

Why would it be unexpected that Reed's numbers are similar to numbers of Clay Matthews when the two are "commonly compared"? Indeed, one would expect him to have similar numbers as Matthews if that is to whom he is commonly compared.

So it would make more sense to say "... is Clay Matthews-like, which is to be expected as the two are commonly compared."

So the writer used the complete opposite word from what he should have used.

Verbal and situational irony are often used for emphasis in the assertion of a truth. The ironic form of simile, used in sarcasm, and some forms of litotes emphasize one's meaning by the deliberate use of language which states the opposite of the truth — or drastically and obviously understates a factual connection.

Just sayin

Wes Bunting says Reed is one of the most overrated players right now.
