Albert Haynesworth-DL- Commanders Sep. 8 - 4:11 pm et

During draft weekend, the Titans reportedly offered a fourth-round pick in exchange for Albert Haynesworth.

The Commanders are now seeking "at least a second-round pick," with Tennessee refusing to budge. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Wednesday that the Skins will not trade Haynesworth unless the Titans meet Mike Shanahan's asking price. Schefter notes that a deal is unlikely before Monday or Tuesday of next week, as Washington has already installed its Week 1 game plan.Source: Nashville Tennessean

lol. Good luck with that.

Seriously.

That's just what I was thinking.

Let this problem continue to be an issue with you and your team.

"That'll show 'em!"

But...But...But...

I thought everything was just great now that Fat Albert had bought into Shamahan's system.

Where is this troll?

Wow, you are just stuck on me aren't you? Getting all gay for me? Dear lord... You quoted something I said before the 2009 season when just about any pundit or anybody with half a brain would have agreed with. 2007 and 2008 Haynesworth for the Titans was extremely effective and much better than Ratliff.

Regardless, I think it's very disturbing in a "guy sitting in my bushes" kind of way that you thought immediately of me.

So now all Fat Albert has to do is dog it in a few games and the skins will be forced to take that 4th round pick. If he really wants out of Washington, he has a golden paved road in front of him. We'll see on Sunday night if he has decided to take it.

I stick by it. Haynesworth is the better player. Blanche really held him back but even still, his presence allowed Carter to post 11 sacks and Brian Orakpo to post 10.5. The defense was night and day with him in and out. Bad person, dominant football player. KC Joyner in one of his chats (I don't think I can pull it up because it's archived now) said that Haynesworth was essentially unblockable by a single player, moreso than any other player in the league. Don't underestimate Haynesworth because of his off-the-field baggage.

That was less than two months ago .....

I still stand by it. Ratliff is cast perfectly in the scheme and it fits him better but Haynesworth is the more dominant player. The problem is he's the defensive equivalent of TO but without the insane conditioning. He'll tear a locker room apart if everything doesn't go his way.

Thank you for being a Commander fan.

Yep, and getting dumped on his head again.

But, these are the same people that told us that Brandon Lloyd was going to be way better than T.O.

Please stay in Washington as long as possible. Its good for the team's management to have the biggest mistake they've ever made rubbed in their face all day every day for years on end. I loved seeing him in that preseason game. About a second after the snap, he'd stand straight up and start walking toward the nearest offensive lineman. Please let Shanahan put him on the field Sunday night. I can't think of a better way for our OL to gain some confidence than facing Fat Al.
