I thought we could get by with our WRs as is, but I am starting to agree here. We need some speed. This game is changing to speed, for example, the Eagles....maclin, jackson, curtis.

speed is a huge plus. not just in football, any sport! speed will kill......

Yup, who is the only guy on our football team with speed, not just straight-line speed (Miles Austin) but with shiftiness/quickness...................that guys name is Felix Jones and look what that guy provides to our offense! Should be a hint.

Newman was right in front of Marshall, not like he left him in the dust.

Romo would have never thrown Roy that ball, he doesn't give him chances to make plays. How many times have we even tried to get him deep that you have seen?

He caught a 60 yarder in the first game where he looked plenty fast. Romo is so scared he is going to make a mistake now we don't even try to throw downfield and when he does he is not even close and he gets our receivers laid out.

Obviously, I think its qb play more than RW. Somehow he could make plays for the Lions but not for us.

Hmmm, could it be our incredibally overrated qb and offensive coordinator.

Witten disappears and we try to run two slants to Hurd against Bailey to win the game. Its ridiculous.

Speed AND quickness are what we need. I'd love to see us have a WR like Welker.

Watch the replay of the Marshall TD again. He did leave him, but the ball was underthrown.

I agree about the final 2 plays. How in the world can our QB decide to throw to our 4th WR against one of the league's best CB's when the game is on the line is beyond me. Austin beat his guy on slant routes on the other side both times.

Once RW gets going, he is pretty fast, but it does take him a few strides to get going. I am not talking about straight line speed here. I want a guy with the quickness/shiftiness like Harvin, Jackson, Maclin, Hendeson, etc...

First, I'm not a Longhorn fan. Buckeye fan here.

Second, he may have ran a 4.4 back in college or when he first got in the league, but not now. I don't see him running past any DB's on go routes ever. I'll give you that he does have long strides and is a big WR. But I don't see him making quick cuts either.

how many go routes have you seen him run? i can say for certain that he still has 4.4 speed just look at the tampa run. if you can tell the difference between 4.3 4.4 4.5 and 4.6 you would know from that run alone he is in the 4.4 range. he may not be 4.43 which is what he ran in college i beleive but at least 4.46-7 ish

Well of course I would love those guys too.

Some speed would definately help, but I still think we have enough talent there to win. We should be 4-0 if it wasnt for #9.

Thats my point. We are too talented across the board to lose games like we do and its not like this is a new thing, we have been finding ways to lose games like this for too long and I am getting sick of it. All we needed today was a qb that took care of the ball, thats it.

Our defensive played great, but you can't keep putting them in the positions we do and expect to win. I love it when we go 3 and out because Garrett calls 3 straight passes even though Romo couldn't hit the broadside of a barn today.

Also as good as our running game has been, maybe we can call a running play besides the fake pass, draw play. I like the play, but sometimes id like to just line up and run straight at them.

Well that INT to Champ and a blindside sack/fumble (somebody missed the blitz pickup, probably Martellus on that one, not many QBs will be able to hold onto the ball when it has been slapped while in a throwing motion) was not Tony's fault. It was the same exact play they ran to Roy Williams the first time we were in the red zone, which he caught at the 4 or something. Roy turned towards the sideline and Romo threw there, Austin turned toward the field, and Romo threw towards the sideline. 99% of the time, the QB knows the play that was called, so I am pretty sure Romo was correct.

If we would have gotten at least 3 points on that drive, we would have been playing a different defense with the lead and the outcome could have changed but that is hindsight.

Romo has 63 turnovers in 49 games. Thats all I am going to say.

He is a turnover machine, whether its his fault or not.

I bet if Kitna was playing, he'd have no problem getting the ball into Williams' hands. Sorry, but Tony has gotten way too big for his britches. Became a superstar before he had ever done anything of any importance. You can blame Jerrah for this one. If Parcels was still around, he would put Tony in his place.

Keyshawn was better than Roy. He had personality and toughness. Roy has jack.
