Colin Kaepernick - QB - Player The "consensus" among NFL people present at the Nevada Pro Day was that Colin Kaepernick will be a second-round pick in April.
NFL.com's Gil Brant reports that Kaepernick was "very impressive" in front of officials from 26 teams, and confirms Kaepernick has established himself as a "high-round draft prospect." Russ Lande of the Sporting News has Kaepernick rated as the No. 2 quarterback in the draft, behind only Blaine Gabbert. We have him teetering between the Seahawks at No. 25 and Bills at No. 34.

:D :D Dah, dee dah do, someone told me Kaepernick wouldnt be a high pick, hmmmmmm, wonder who that was? :D

Andy Dalton - QB - Player ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer believes that TCU quarterback Andy Dalton will be a first-round pick in April's draft.
Dilfer also thought Sam Bradford would be a bust last year. "One of the reasons why he hasn't generated as much momentum and hype is because what personnel and coaches do at this time of the year when they've kind of settled on who they want, they're going to shut up about that guy," said Dilfer. "You'll hear a lot of good stuff about (Ryan) Mallett in the next couple weeks because they want to use him as a smoke screen." Added Dilfer, "I will not be wrong here. ... I'll be shocked if I'm wrong. Andy Dalton will be taken in the first round."

I say Dalton could go anywhere from 2nd to 4th rd.

Not surprised, I think he's a pretty good prospect. I'm wondering if QB hungry teams skip QB in the first because the quality of the 2nd/3rd round guys

I think Kaepernick is a great prospect with a ton of upside.

Dilfer thought Bradford would be a bust? Why? I didn't remember that.

Also... I say no way Dalton goes in the first round. Or he shouldn't, anyway.

This is good, because Kaepernick has a chance to go to a better team with an older QB in place, so they can sit him for a year or two and work on his mechanics.
