Will Rackley - G - Player Lehigh G/T Will Rackley was charged with just three sacks allowed in 40 career college starts.
Rackley was Lehigh's starting left tackle, never missing a game in college. Citing several NFL executives, the NY Daily News reports that Rackley "has quietly been the talk around the league in recent weeks." A projected second- to third-round pick, Rackley projects as a Week 1 starting guard in the NFL.

Offensive linemen Will Rackley and Brandon Fusco moving up draft boards
BY Manish Mehta

Less than three weeks before the NFL Draft, a pair of offensive linemen from smaller schools are steadily moving up draft boards throughout the league.

Lehigh’s Will Rackley and Slippery Rock’s Brandon Fusco have caught the eyes of scouts, coaches and player personnel executives with impressive showings in personal workouts. Jets offensive line coach Bill Callahan came away impressed with both of them at Lehigh Pro Day last month.

Cowboys really like this kid.

Ugh, most of my wishlist players from February are now vaulting up the boards.

I seen a lot of mocks with this guy or Kendrick Ellis at our pick in the 3rd. I don't like the odds of either making it at this point.

yeah, and those three sacks were playing LT. I like this guy anywhere from 2nd on.

Me too. I'm trying not to get my hopes up however, he's probably my favourite guard prospect now

Thats why it might be very important, if say for example, cowboys cant get peterson, then cowboys trade down to about 12th slot, still get Tyron Smith, and get an extra 3rd round pick, can you imagine with
1. Tyron Smith
2.
3. Will Rackley
3. Kendrick Ellis :starspin

There's an old football saying;
You win football games in the trenches. If cowboys can get tyron smith, will rackley to team with doug free, and kendrick ellis to team with josh brent at NT and allow jay ratliff to move to DE, Boom, youve helped both offensive and defensive lines.

Thats what I want to happen.
1. Tyron Smith
2. Brandon Harris
3. Will Rackley
3. Kendrick Ellis or Jarvis Jenkins
4. Kelvin Sheppard
5. Ian Williams
5. Henry Hynoski(pick up 5th via a trade)
6. Cedric Thornton

I would still love to be able to some how get Marcus Cannon but he will be a 2nd round pick.Maybe trade next years 2nd for this years 2nd for some team. But then we would still have to give up a pick this year later which I might not want to do. I doube a team will just swap even.

I like Ellis but he might be gone by the 3rd. If so no big deal I still like Ian Willaims or Chris Nield for NT and Jenkins for 3-4 DE. Ellis is a 3-4 DE/ NT. I know his wieght but he has the speed and power to play 3-4 DE. Ellis is a poor mans Ngata.

thats the difference in a 3rd round and a 1st round propect.

You can say the same about Jahri Evans and Doug Free but both turned out pretty good.

Smith in one, trade down in 2, get Rackley later in the round. get Huff and Mankins in FA and the O line and Safety positions are taken care of. we can look at getting a replacement for Gurode next season.

I agree with everything but for Mankins. I would rather spend my money on Blalock and still save some money. Mankins is going to want Hutchenson money, not thanks to a 29 year old OG. Blalock is younger and can come in cheaper.
