Ryan and Singletary?

I was just wondering since Rex Ryan and Singletary were on the same staff with the Ravens a few years back if maybe Ryan had any pull to bring Singletary from San Fran? It seems no one at all has anything bad to say about Singletary if he became our DC, just if he was rushed into a HC position. If Rex Ryan could bring in Singletary as our DC then I would be all for Rex Ryan as our new coach. No other candidate intrigues me really other than maybe Norv if a great DC was brought in along with him. Not too fond of Rivera just because either the defense begins another massive overhaul back to the 4-3 or the huge risk involved with Rivera trying a new scheme.

Although... bringing Wade Phillips in then seeing all the future heckling about who he's coached between ware and merriman being the better player would be nice to see.

I know we have mentioned Rex Ryan many times on this board, but I have not seen his name from the media at all. Maybe the Dallas writers, but not the national media.

Isn't that strange, or have I missed his name being called?

Why not just hire the twin Ryan brothers? Think of all the wacky gags they could play on the rest of the staff!
