NFL Films' Greg Cosell calls Oklahoma WR Ryan Broyles a "smooth route runner with natural quicks."

Cosell agrees with the notion that the 5-foot-10, 192-pound Broyles will be best suited to the slot, but likes his hands and after-the-catch ability. Working his way back to full health after tearing his left ACL last November, Broyles has a shot at being a day-two pick.

I have several wishes for this draft. Broyles takes care of 2 of them.

His name being called by the Cowboys has become one of the top things I want to see during the draft.

You like him better than Joe Adams?

Joe Adams is a bum..completely overrated.. Not even the best WR on his own team in this class

Wright>>> Adams

I would have no problem with him being the pick anytime after our selection at #45.

Adams is a special teams stud and did it against the best competition, would love to have him. He would be just fine in the slot.

He's a horrible route runner..there are plenty other better options for a slot receiver..namely, J. Wright

I'm cool with that draft!

If somehow my boy Boykin fell to the 5th, we'd almost have to find a player in the 6th and 7th with a B name lol

6th - Jake Bequette
7th - Nicholas Jean-Baptiste

Yeah, he's the one receiver who best fits what I think the Boys need in their receiving corps right now... we've got plenty of big guys, we need one or two smaller, quicker wideouts who fit the slot receiver profile...

I see him as a 6th rounder at the moment, but wouldn't squawk if the Boys reached a little for him in the 5th round...

I won't be happy with it. I guess I need to see an OU WR not be a complete waste of picks and space in the NFL before I get on board. I think Broyles could be successful in New England, but there aren't many other wide open offenses that I think he would thrive in. Hard for a tiny little guy to live catching 3-5 yard passes the way he did at OU. His run after the catch ability will be minimized and that is what he gave to the Sooners.

What really stands out to me when I watch Broyles is how fast he goes from top speed to turn and catch the ball and gets turned back up the field at top speed again. I'd love to see him running all of those Wes Welker patterns with a star on his helmet.
