I'm a fan of RC. I think he is very good on air and analytically.

Not surprised by the news since it went down to the wire for him to signi a new deal back in 2024.

ESPN is going to be letting go of a bunch of other folks tomorrow and in the next few days/weeks I'm sure.

Disagree 100%. He is incredibly, obviously, and blatantly biased in every topic. He has his favorite players, teams, and coaches and least favorites and he can’t help but skew everything that comes out of his stupid mouth and talk nonsense. Players he doesn’t like he will refuse to give any credit to. Then he often brings in politics and race into everything when there is no connection whatsoever. He should’ve been fired years ago. He is more proof that just because you were a player doesn’t mean you have any business doing “analysis”.

Yeah this an odd view. I’ve seen none of this. Yes he does bring in race politics when it’s necessary. I get the “shut up and dribble” crowd but I expect honesty and truth.

I wasn’t a big fan of him but there was a time…it might’ve been about Pickens….he said something out of pocket and he apologized and admitted he was wrong. I’ve never seen any talking head or analyst do that. They are loud and opinionated and when they are wrong they are quiet. So he earned my respect.

While I agree with your general sentiment, it doesn’t usually apply to your job. You can’t do or say anything you want as an employee, unless it’s a govt job, and even that has its limits. Should it be this way? That’s a different argument for another day

His opinion on Tom Brady is one of the most popular examples of how incredibly biased he is and can’t analyze anything outside his personal feelings about a topic. And he will double down on his dumb, wrong opinions. He is just one but espn is full of dum-dums that have no business being in a booth or a talking head. He was just one. How is kendrich Perkins on staff? Hard to even understand what he’s saying half the time.
They have way too many most aren’t worth watching.

And just like that they forget how he saved their broadcast on the night that when Demar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest on the field. Buck and Aikman were professional. Clark empathetic which what that moment deserved.
