He HAD to change his number because Damone Clark was already 18. They had a few double numbers in camp (I know Bell and one of the other WR shared 14)

Yea this is what I was going to say. He turns 25 in October.

There better not be an acclimation period with a player that old - too early but it doesn't seem like there will be.
I agree, throw this guy in the game. He's too old to be holding him back, besides his game looks ready.

Cool. I miss the days when WRs almost all had 80s numbers.
I guess I'm old-school on that too. It just looks right to me for the receivers to wear jerseys in the 80s, especially compared to the single-digit jerseys for receivers. I will say, though, just having QBs and kickers in the single digits wasted some numbers. Maybe if they would have extended that to another position group, like running backs (0-19).

TE Brevyn Spann-Ford and LB Marist Liufau need to change their uniform numbers. 47 & 35 just aren't good numbers for their positions.

One of the reasons why i always prefer to to draft highly athletic guys even if they are from a small school.

I'm hoping some of Tony the thrill Hill's juice still lingers on for whomever wears that jersey number.
