Ryan Grant (hamstring) was absent as the Packers broke for practice Thursday.

Grant did the same on Wednesday, but wound up having "limited" participation and the Packers don't expect to practice him at full tilt until Friday. Grant is still expected to play in Week 3 against the Cowboys.

I hope he plays, so after we win we don't have to hear them whine about their top running back being out.

He will play. This game could have playoff implications.

He'll play and I'll be glad that he does. I don't want any excuses for them losing to us.

Grant is so overrated, even if he plays he wont do much against us.

Like he didn't do much against us last year?

+1 :packers:

Grant will end up playing very limited this week. They say hes ahead of schedule but it doesnt appear that way. He played an awful game against Detroit and has yet to practice even though MM has said in the past that the practices for his inexperienced players in big games is most ket. Something fishy in there.

Brandon Jackson.

And is he bad. It seems the only team hes played well against is Detroit. Hes very good in the passing game but as a rushing back hes very mediocre.

Had 90 something yards on us in the 1st half. Didn't do much in the 2nd. At least that's how I remember it. He did break a long one though.

It really doesn't matter who they line up. They're getting punched in the collective mouths.

Hey guys, just found out that Ryan Grant had 15 carries for 20 yards against an awful Lions D.

Grant put up 92 yards on 12 carries on Minnesota.

Minnesota is usually pretty stout vs. the run. They held Addai to 30 last week.

They are resting him for Doomsday, he's gonna need all he can get:starspin

If he plays he plays; if he doesn't he doesn't...It's the breaks of the game.

If he doesn't play and we win let them whine, put one in the W column and move on. If he does play and we win anyway they will have some other excuse, put one in the W column and move on. As long as the game goes in Our W column...Let Them Eat Cheese.
