Saw on the ticker on ESPN that LA Tech running back Ryan Moats will enter the draft. I have only seen highlights of him and I have no idea where he will be drafted, but his highlights are very impressive. Short, Stocky and all sorts of moves.

I would like Moats to be our Westbrook........ I have seen him listed as 3rd-4th round; we will see how that holds up.

If Parcells likes'em elusive in the open field, which he openly admits he does, Moats is a great candidate for late day 1/early day 2. FOr that matter so is TA McClendon or Darren Sproles.

As far as a Richie Anderson replacement, Louisville's Eric Shelton declared today too. He's a 6-2, 247 lbs guy who ran for 6.5+ ypc in college who could be a RB/FB hybrid in the NFL. .

Just a phenominal year for runningbacks. I think there are 15 backs in this draft who could have long careers. Reminds me of the WR class last year.

Agree. Didn't know Shelton was thinking about coming out, but then I saw it on Sportscenter. He has the potential to be a T.J. Duckett like player. Don't know if Dallas wants that, but he can be a contributor for some team. Dallas should easily be able to find a complimentary back in this draft if it is high enough on their need list. There will be value in the 4th and 5th rounds most likely (unless every other team decides they need a lot of backs - maybe the Vikings will draft four).
