Sure hope the fish take him with their pick atleast. Push another need position player down to us.

I don't. I hope he's on the board at 14 and some QB needy team offers us a bounty for the pick.

absolutely, Cleveland at 22 in particular.

A fair point. I wonder who would hold more value for us in a trade down scenario, Richardson or Tanny. You have a higher ranked player vs a player in a higher valued position.

I'd have to think the QB. They are always over valued.

There is no way Tannehill is a top 15 player. I don't even think he's a top 30 player. This is the classic push QBs get every year. As soon as Griffin became a lock to go at 2, that pushes the next guy up significantly. You're not gonna see two QBs go in the first two picks and then none the rest of the round. Even though there really isn't another 1st round caliber prospect after Luck and Griffin.

I'm guessing Tannehill doesn't get past the Dolphins. But I can dream.

Tannehill is an interception waiting to happen. I do not understand anyone giving this guy any love before the 3rd round. He has athletic ability and is a versatile player, but they guy is not a very good QB.

No one will trade with us to get Tannehill if he is there at 15, and that is because the Eagles are behind us. They are set at QB, with Vick....and are not a threat to take Tannehill...thus, they are a much better trade partner than we are.

let him develop under romo?

Cowboys would be very foolish.

his contract would be up before Romo retires

We just got a decent QB in free agency whom is younger than Romo. He may not be a franchise QB but he is good enough to win

Why would we want to do that. He isn't a first round prospect and is simply being overvalued for his position like Ponder last year.

I've always wanted to ask someone that posts this type of question the following. Are you really serious or do you just enjoy getting the board worked into a frenzy?

If he dropped to the 2nd or3rd....in other words, no thank you

Miami is not gonna take him at #8, nor is Seatle, and Clev has already showed they are gonna give McCoy at least another year. He could very easily fall out of the 1st round if Buffalo passes on him as well.

Tannehill will get drafted early in the 1st rd. My view he is not a 1st rd QB talent wise.

If you gave me a list of players picked to go in the top 20 this year, the number 1 player that they Cowboys would gain the least benefit from would have to be Ryan Tannehill.
