Anyone watching the Ryder Cup? Europe have got off to a good start. They'll be looking to get a 4 point lead going into the final day to be in a good position to win.

It is over, not sure what the heck Keegan was thinking with these pairings but it is ridiculous to basically rerun day one's disaster.

Running Morikowa back out there was plain stupid. Statistically, one of the worst putters on the tour and shrinks in big situations. Feel bad for English. He certainly drew the short straw by being paired with him. The only thing worse than America's play is the commentary by Brad Faxon. The guy is flat out awful. Everyone knows that most shots are being shown on tape delay, yet, he goes so over the top with the call that it's comical. 'OOOOOOH.. IT ALMOST WENT IN!!!!'. Can't stand him. And what was NBC thinking by adding Paul McGinley to their broadcast team? As an American, we could care less about Europe and his feelings about their play. Oh, Faxon is Rory's putting coach. Nothing like having an American commentator secretly pulling for the opposition.

Spot on

Lot of gagging by the American players. But Bradley has not pushed any of the right buttons. Trotting out Scottie and Henley again? Then Scottie with Bryson in the afternoon?

Scottie and Bryson are both incredible players but their emotional make-up couldn't be more opposite

Bryson and Cam would have been a better pairing

US guys just plain getting their butt handed to them in epic fashion

Straight up embarrassing

Golf isn't a team sport. What we have are a collection of hot players in Europe right now who match up well with this golf course. Bethpage Black is a long course. Being saddled with short hitters like Haris English, JJ spun, and Henley put us at a disadvantage out of the gate. When they are hitting 9 irons into the par 5's and we are hitting woods, it's a problem. I don't blame Keegan. He just doesn't have the collection of hot players Europe came in with. I'm looking at the 2 rosters and other than Sheffler and maybe Bryson, who on this team could even make the European team?

I agree. You don't run the same losing pairings out without some kind of history of success. Henley isn't a long hitter so he needed to be lightly used, especially after the morning hole we dug on friday. Same with Span and English. These guys are a terrible match-up with this course. Keegan did make some nice captain picks as we can see with Cam Young , Burns, and Cantlay. JT is always a good pick. My one beef is the Morikawa pick. He hasn't played well since March. I'd rather roll the dice on Koepka who can at least get the ball down the fairway.

I think if Keegan could have chosen all 12 spots, the team would look a lot different.

The quality of the golf being played by both teams is outstanding, Europe are just being unerringly consistant where as America are 'just' being excellent.
The most surprising and disappointing thing is how classless the crowd have been. It is in New York I guess.

The course setup doesn't do the American team any favors either. Whoever decided to cut the rough down, make the greens a bit slower, etc. should never go near another Ryder Cup again. They completely ignored the formula that allowed them to dominate at Whistling Straits.

Keegan should be playing not a captain. I think it harder for a current player to pick pairings when faced with peer pressure from guys you see in the locker room on a regular basis as well.

Incredible fight back by America, just shows how tiny the margin between success and failure is in top level sport.

Some of the American supporters were a disgrace, and so was Keegan Bradley for not saying it.
The golf by both sides was outstanding, the big difference is imo that in the four balls and foursomes, which is a team effort, it suits the Europeans more.
And as for Bryson DeShambles… If he’d tried that on with Lowry, Rahm or Hatton, he’d have soon shut up.
Roll on the next one in Ireland.
