In 2007 anthony Spencer went 27th and Lamar Woodley went 46th.. it happens I like Spencer and all but wish the cowboys had woodley.

Only the Chargers had a draft near as good in 2005. But Dallas pulled THREE pro bowlers out that draft:

DeMarcus Ware
Marion Barber III
Jay Ratliff

Frikkin amazing. That's not even counting 3 other starters:

Marcus Spears
Chris Canty
Rob Pettiti (scrub, but started)

Kevin Burnett was a key part of the D, and is now a starter w/the Chargers. If Beriault's knees don't give out on him, the Cowboys would have hit on EVERY SINGLE draft pick. Crazy.

05 Draft was just weak in general.
Really? It was the best in the last 10 years for Dallas:

Ware, Spears, Burnett, Barber, Canty, Ratliff were all selected and all are NFL starters.

Here's another one, 1988:

1. Atlanta - Aundray Bruce, DE Auburn
2. Kansas City - Neil Smith, DE Nebraska
3. Detroit - Bennie Blades, S Miami
4. Tampa Bay - Paul Gruber, T Wisconsin
5. Cincinnati - Rickey Dixon, DB Oklahoma
6. L.A. Raiders - Tim Brown, WR Notre Dame
7. Green Bay - Sterling Sharpe, WR South Carolina
8. N.Y. Jets - Dave Cadigan, G Southern California
9. L.A. Raiders - Terry McDaniel, CB Tennessee
10. N.Y. Giants - Eric Moore, G Indiana
11. Dallas - Michael Irvin, WR Miami

Going into that draft I craved Michael Irvin. Two receivers were rated ahead of him and went ahead of him, but I remember wanting Irvin and as it turned out, we got him and clearly, there's no one in that top 10 I'd rather have. Brown and Sharpe were both good, top notch receivers, but Irvin was "The Playmaker".

Tim Brown 9-time Pro Bowler
Sterling Sharpe 5-time Pro Bowler to bad he got hurt

It was great for you guys, just bad as far as no clear top 10 guys. No real clear cut #1 pick.
