S. Jackson downgraded; Kearse Out

Steven Jackson was downgraded to Questionable with a hip injury. He did not practice. Marshall Faulk would start for Jackson if he does not play. Faulk has been out the last couple of days with the flu.

Javon Kearse is out this week for Philly vs Wash.

Yes. Now with another weapon of the rams offense out, they might have to resort to going to Holt........all game. Becuase Marshall Faulk is old and washed up, does he have any gas left?

Jackson worried me a bit, but with him injured, he wont be at 100% for the game. If faulk is ill as well, they might have to resort to their 3rd running back.............we all remember Avieon Cason, right?

I'd like to see newman guard Holt. That would be a great matchup, we MUST NOT put Glenn on Holt. Holt has the size over Glenn, and we all know Glenn can make plays, but Holt is a premier WR in the league now. I'd love to see Newman lock him down!!!!!!!

I'm kind of afraid of facing Faulk. He may retire at the end of the year -- he's certainly the type of back who can really kill you. He'd just love to go out on top like that.

I agree.

I think our speedy defense can straight shut Jackson down. 40 yards or less.

But Faulk... he scares me a lil. He can still burst. Especially receiving out of the backfield.

I have a lot of respect for Faulk, one of the top all time RBs. Still, when was the last time he carried the rock a whole game without sharing reps?
