Anyone hear about this? TJ was talking on sports radio and said that Taylor spit in his face after they got into an altercation when TJ felt Taylor put a cheap shot on him. TJ said Taylor then spit in his face and walked away while TJ had to be held back by teammates. TJ went on to say if the game were played at home, he would have went after Taylor in the locker room (since he knew exactly where it was and how to get there). TJ said his teammates knew how upset he was and they kept him away from Taylor at the end of the game. He said he always respected Taylor watching him play in college but now he thinks he is just a punk. He went on about football being a violent sport and all, but he said there was no excuse for Taylor spitting in his face. He doesn't understand what Taylor was thinking. Ultimate sign of disrespect.

Interesting. Wonder if the NFL will step in at all......

I said way back before the draft that Taylor was overrated. He's proving me right.

Potential to be a pretty good safety, but no way in hell should he have been picked in the top half of the first round.

Anyone recall off the top of their head what happened with the Romo spitting incident? I do remember seeing Romo's actions actually caught on camera, not sure if the same can be said with Taylor as I wasn't watching the game.

Then who should the skins' picked? There wasn't anyone worth a **** that high anyways. And DON'T mention Winslow, were trying to stay out of cap problems. He's playing exactly the way he should be for a rookie. Make a play here and get burnt on the next series. Who cares if he acts immature. He's a kid from the hood with a million bucks. Not all of them are going to act like darrell Green. If this guy ends up like Irvin it doesn't make him any worse of a player. You are letting personal feelings for Taylor determine a bias on his playing ability. How is a guy thats 6-2,230, and runs a 4.6 overrated?......Within 3 years when his instincts kick into gear he'll be a beast. But of course the 10th game of your rookie season predicts the future, silly me......

A kid from the hood ? What are you talking about. The kids father is the Chief of police where he's from. I somehow doubt he was hanging on street corners with his homies.

NFL reviewed it. Found no evidence Taylor spit on anyone.

SportsLine.com wire reports

ASHBURN, Va. -- The NFL will not fine Washington Commanders safety Sean Taylor after looking into allegations that a Cincinnati player was spit on during Sunday's game.

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said one of his players was spit on during Cincinnati's 17-10 victory. Lewis did not name either player involved, although comments from receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh implied the culprit was Taylor.

The league, as it does every week, carefully examined every play from the game and found insufficient evidence for action.

"Sean Taylor will not be fined," NFL spokesman Michael Signora said Thursday. "There was no video evidence to support a fine."

Taylor has not commented on the matter. The No. 5 overall draft pick from Miami hasn't spoken to the media since he was arrested and charged with drunken driving on Oct. 28. Taylor's difficult rookie year has also included a $25,000 fine for skipping one day of a rookie symposium.

Commanders coach Joe Gibbs said Wednesday he had not discussed the spitting matter with Taylor.

"It really hasn't been a big deal to me," said Gibbs, who added: "I don't have a clue what's happened here."
