Anybody know the record for 3-4 nose tackles for sacks in a single season?

I dont think they track sacks per scheme like that.

Im sure somebody has that logged down somewhere though.

It would be interesting to see where Ratliff's numbers stack up against other 3-4 NTs in the history of that scheme.

I tried looking, all I can figure is to compare him against players who played almost exclusively in a 3-4.

Kris Jenkins is having a good year but this is his first year in a 3-4. Casey Hampton has been out but if you want to look year by year it looks like Ratliff might have the most sacks out of the players I looked at.

If I'm not fudging Leon Lett came close to double digits in 1994, like Ratliff he moved around the line.

Randy White definitely had double digits, obviously these guys rarely if ever lined up at NT but they were interior linemen that moved around as Ratliff has.

Santana Dotson was another DT that got double digit sacks but not a true NT, at least only a sparing one
