By the numbers:

Robert Quinn 2 games 6 tackles 3 sacks- Pretty dam good, glad he is here.
DLaw 4 games 6 tackles 2.5 sacks- Took him a couple games to get going, lets hope it continues.
Maliek Collins 4 games 3 tackles 2 sacks- He's been disruptive even when the numbers do not show it.

More important than just sacks we have zero DL with double digit tackles. I know in our defensive system everything flows through to the LB to make the play but dang if we can get a couple stops at the LOS the Dline it'd help us get off the field faster.

Side not for all the Taco haters the "bust" has played in 2 games, has 8 tackles and 2 sacks.

Keep in mind that 1 of those sacks for Taco was a gimmie by Dak..

It would make sense to see DLaw tackle numbers low. If you are the OC, you running at him or the other one? Now that Quinn is here, that will even out I suspect.

Meanwhile, his team’s 0-4 and they’re defense is ranked 32nd in both points and yards allowed.

Tacos’s REALLY making a difference in Miami.

It's not just the anemic tackle numbers, it's also the lack of disruptions and pressures. If you're making $100 million, you need to be a constant, visible force on the field.

Just watch Aaron Donald. He doesn't have gaudy sack #s he usually does, but he's blowing things up in the backfield multiple times per game -- all that coming from the TACKLE position.

So no, teams running away from Lawrence isn't a valid excuse for him being next to invisible.

Also, the common excuse that he's still making a difference by absorbing extra blockers/bodies doesn't fly. You can find massive guys to take on blockers for $1-2million/yr.

No offense to any state workers out there.

Not arguing he doesn't need to do more,, just saying if your the OC, who you running at DLaw or Armstrong or Crawford? He will hopefully pick up the pace moving forward, 6 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 1 FF and 2 Fumble recoveries. I don't know how many pressures he has, at least 1 cuz he got a penalty ha ha.

A friend with the highway department said their vehicles are the most comfortable he's ever slept in while the sun was shinning. Air conditioners work great too.

I am a personal fan of taller frames and longer arms. History has proven they can get it done, week in week out.

Jason Hatcher/ David Irving type players.

But that's just my preference and preferences vary just like opinions and beliefs.

Maybe Taco is better with the Dolphins' Defensive scheme. Maybe being in Dallas just was not in the cards. It happens.

I was actually just surprised that he had gotten another sack. So when I was looking at everybody else's numbers he was right there with them.

People can knock Lawrence's production, but there was that stat showing he gets doubled or tripled often. With the threat of Quinn now, expect to see more sacks from Lawrence.

We need more disruption from the 1-Tech position. Rinse, gargle, rewind, repeat, broken record, skip, skip,skip...
