Idk why this team has such a hard time at home... you would think no team would ever struggle at home....

The opposition circles their calendars when they see Cowboys stadium on the schedule. They look forward to it as much as the Cowboys do.
I won't start referring to the cooperate name on the stadium until I start getting checks from them.

FedEx is like home away from home for the Cowboys. They're 7-2 over their last 9 games at FedEx, including 4 straight after Sunday's win. Living in the DC area, this makes me very happy. Now if they could just get some home wins.

well last year we played without our qb and a healthy dez bryant, so I suspect that has something to do with it.

seattle new england and carolina were pretty good last year. Really no shame in losing to them at home.

plus they basically mailed in the jets and Commanders games at home last year once moore was playing.

they should not have lost to atlanta last year and they lost in ot to philly.

last years home record is pretty understandable to me.

But it's not just last year, seems like they've had this issue for 10+ years. I think it has to do with stupid fans cheering when the offense is on the field and being silent with the defense is on the field

You can thank the Cowboys for turning home field into a tourist attraction. Cowboy games probably have one of the highest proportions of opponent fans in the NFL.

It doesnt help that the stadium caters to opponent food choices. They have Buffalo wings, Philly Cheesesteaks, etc.

They should change it to Texas BBQ and Tex Mex and Lone Star Beer. Too heck with New England seafood and New Orleans Cajun.

We need to make the stadium less comfortable for visiting opponent fans.

2nd Amendment Appreciation Day....

"Stadium parking is for trucks only"

Around the communities close to the stadium, out of state liscense plates are deemed probable cause for body searches.

.....just little things like that....

I wonder if all the amentities make it too comfortable for the players. I fear The Star may be making them "soft" also. Either that or we're not a very good team right now. When the Cowboys start winning, it will be sooooo cool to have the best stadium and the best headquarters while kicking everybody's ***. Until then...

On another note, how is the visiting locker room at AT&T? It should be cold and dark in there. The visitors should not get the country club treatment. Just sayin.'

Not sure about the visitors locker room. But the Cowboys locker room at the stadium is just a locker room.
It is not like a country club setting where they are pampered. It is nice, but not to the degree to say they are spoiled.....it has lockers, it has showers, it has treatment rooms.....it has a hallway that goes to the press conference room. And in that hallway are extra lockers that are used by the practice squad players and a few coaches.

Cowboys fans are louder and more into the game at Fed ex than they are at home for sure.

That is absolutely true. The DC area Cowboys fan are a completely different breed than the fans that are born and bred in Texas. We are berated non-stop by angry Commanders fans who hate, and I mean HATE, the Cowboys. Knowing that there are so many Cowboys fans in the DC area makes skins fans hate the Cowboys even more, and it makes them hate us Cowboys fans. They don't understand it, they don't like it, and they let us know every chance they get. All that hate makes the DC Cowboys fan even more passionate for their team, and when the two teams meet all that passion comes out, especially if you're at Fedex. It's a hostile environment, but there are always tons of Cowboys fans, and they are LOUD. We want the Cowboys to beat the skins. We NEED them to beat the skins. If the skins win, that's the ONLY thing people will talk about for the next week around here. That's why our DC fans are so into the game, we have to be.

Edit - My fedex guy at work just showed up wearing a Cowboys hat. He's all smiles today, said he'll be "Spreading Cowboys cheer all day". In other words, pissing off skins fans along his route all day, lol
