Sad Parcells press conference

thats more than Parcells has done here

Cue the 1999 Jacksonville 62-7 blowout post in 3-2-1...

I agree...if the coach is hanging his head...why should the players get excited?

WHere's the emotion he showed in that Giants win @NYG? He was pumping his fists, smiling, etc...

If he had any honour, he would refund his game cheques for the last four weeks of years 1, 3 and 4 and all of season 2.

His tenure in Dallas has been an abject failure - this team is pathetic and is playing no better now than the 2002 Cowboys team he inherited.

Did he use his pat "we were unprepared/non-competitive" excuse?

Parcells has upgraded the talent level tremendously in the last 4 years - other than the offensive line. Now Dallas needs to get a young, energetic, INNOVATIVE head coach along with a good DC to take them to the next level. Too bad Peyton went to New Orleans.

Called the loss a low point for him, I assume in his career. As well he should in my opinion. Not sure how this loss will effect his future in Dallas, but it will even harder for the Cowboys to do anything in the playoffs with a coach that looks completely lost.

This on-again, off-again attitude is getting ridiculous.

Either be with the team and ride the hi's and low's or resign and let someone else do it.

No matter what happens in the playoffs, it's going to be an interesting off-season, not only for the Cowboys, but for the Commanders and Giants as well. The Eagles have fewer demons and will have a good view of it all. The winds of change, they are a blowing everywhere.

Well stated

Yes they have, however he did upgrade the talent level. We just need someone to find out the best use of them. On both sides the ball.

Absodominantly true. (I just made up a new word.)

jerry should make parcells work next yr as his water boy, making parcells get him his glass of moet with crushed ice chips just for wasting the last 4 yrs

I've said it since the thrid quarter of the philly game, Parcells ain't coming back.

He looks beat and defeated.

He's covering his face on the sidelines for crying out loud.

He doesn't WANT to come back.

I don't blame him either.

Seriously, he looks completely out of ideas and frankly, so am I. What else can be done to fix this defense? The front four generates some pressure, but still, they can't get off the field on 3rd down and they give up 38 points.

I scanned the front page and saw a page full of threads ripping Romo. Yeah, three turnovers, but even still, when you score 31 points that should be enough to win the game.

This defense needs fixing, and Bill just doesn't know how to fix it.

I do think the Zimmer witchhunters are right.

He has to go.

I just doubt if Coach Parcells wants to come back.

If I were him, I would think twice. I wouldn't want to coach a team that doesn't even have enough pride to win a game like this.
