IRVING – The Murder’s Row list of quarterbacks Dallas faces this season continues with a Sunday night encounter with Washington’s Robert Griffin III, who is coming off a bye that may have allowed him to round into shape after a slow start following offseason knee surgery.
Looming on the horizon are Detroit’s Matthew Stafford, New Orleans’ Drew Brees, the New York Giants’ Eli Manning, Chicago’s Jay Cutler and Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers.
Already the Cowboys have given up three 400-yard passing games, a trend that should have alarm bells going off at Valley Ranch.
“Well, I don’t know that we live in the world of alarm bells,” coach Jason Garrett said. “We just try to address the situation. We were at those games. We recognize what happens. We know the teams we’re playing. You go back and you just try to correct things and you try to evaluate what you’re doing as coaches, what you’re asking our players to do and if we’re asking the right guys to do what they’re capable of doing.”
And if all else fails, they can always try to outscore ’em like they did against Denver.
