SAN ANTONIO – The Cowboys listed receiver Miles Austin (hamstring) and defensive end DeMarcus Ware (thigh) as doubtful for Sunday’s home game against Minnesota (1-6).

On the positive side of the team’s official injury report, running back DeMarco Murray is probable after missing two games with a knee injury.

Austin, who missed last week’s 31-30 loss at Detroit, and Ware, who has missed the last two games, did not practice this week. Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones told reporters in Irving the team shut Austin down this week hoping the inactivity would speed his recovery.

Cornerback Morris Claiborne (hamstring), rookie linebacker DeVonte Holloman (neck), right guard Brian Waters (elbow) and rookie safety J.J. Wilcox (knee) were ruled out. All but Holloman are starters.

Safety/special teams ace Danny McCray (hip/toe) is questionable after limited participation in practice Friday. Safety Barry Church (hamstring) is probable.
