The Cowboys are considering adding kickoff duties to Dez Bryant's plate going forward.

Bryant joined Akwasi Owusu-Ansah and Felix Jones in fielding kickoffs during Thursday's practice. "We could put him back there some," Wade Phillips said. "He's a guy that can make big plays, and you always have to think about that." The Cowboys should be thinking about ways to increase Bryant's offense role, instead, after his breakout game Monday night.

Now that Romo and the season are over lets get Dez jacked up on Kick Offs.

Why not do it, they won't kick to him anyway.

Our kickoff returns have sucked all year and now that we're 1-5 they decide to toy with something new..brilliant..

Not worth the injury risk. This team is dead man walking...

was there an early happy hour?

Nothing to be happy about. Bryant is good at returning kicks it is foolish not to put him out there. He likes doing it and damn good at it.

we should have done it the first game against washington.you always put players in a position to maximize their potential.

In other words, there was an early happy hour.

No happy hour at all. Sorry I think trying to protect a player is silly. Dez has a skill for returns that is why he took on the duty at OSU and why he has 2 punt returns for TD's as a rookie. He is a football player and football players play football and last time I checked returning kicks/punts is part of the game.
