SAN ANTONIO – The Cowboys have reportedly extended cornerback Orlando Scandrick’s contract two more years, meaning he’s now signed through 2018.
Dallas inked Scandrick to a five-year, $25 million extension shortly before the start of the 2011 season.
His new extension adds $9 million in guaranteed money, giving him a base salary of $4.5 million in 2014, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Scandrick has set career highs this season with 12 starts, 59 tackles, 12 passes defended and two interceptions.
