CHICAGO – The Dallas Cowboys finally won something.
While its only the offseason, there was reason for celebration at Valley Ranch after the club won a coin flip with the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday morning in Indianapolis, securing the 16th pick of the draft.
Both clubs finished 8-8 last season and the combined winning percentage of each team’s opponents was .484, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones represented the team. According to the Morning News, he flashed a big smile after the win.
“We are pretty pleased,” he told the newspaper. Jones also added he hoped it was a sign of things to come in 2014.
