The Cowboys face a rude awakening when they return to Dallas after Saturday’s game at Arizona.
But coach Jason Garrett has a plan to beat the heat at Valley Ranch.
After working out in mild weather for three weeks in California, the team will start practice at 8:15 a.m. next week.
“We should be off the field by 10:30 (a.m.) and that should make it 8-10 degrees cooler than practicing later in the day,” Garrett said. “We just think that’s a good thing. It’s going to be hot enough in Texas. We’ve got to get acclimated to that.”
