SAN ANTONIO – Jason Garrett is one of a handful of coaches that isn’t scheduled to hold a news conference at the NFL Scouting Combine, according to schedule released Tuesday by the NFL.

Teams aren’t required to talk to reporters at the combine, but nearly 20 teams will make both a coach and front office member available in Indianapolis.

The only clubs that haven’t scheduled access are the Cowboys, the New England Patriots and the New Orleans Saints, although Dallas owner Jerry Jones typically meets with a handful of beat reporters on his bus parked outside a downtown hotel.

In addition to Garrett, the Patriots’ Bill Belichick and the New Orleans Saints’ Sean Payton, the following coaches aren’t schedule to talk at Lucas Oil Stadium: the Miami Dolphins’ Joe Philbin, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Mike Tomlin, the Baltimore Ravens’ John Harbaugh, the San Diego Chargers’ Mike McCoy, the Philadelphia Eagles’ Chip Kelly and the Seattle Seahawks’ Pete Carroll.

According to the NFL, the schedule is subject to change. Garrett also could meet with reporters away from the podium in a session arranged by the team.

The combine runs Thursday through Feb. 25.
