SAN ANTONIO – When the Dallas Cowboys return to practice Wednesday morning in Irving, linebacker Sean Lee is expected to be on the side rehabbing his gimpy hamstring.

The Cowboys haven’t ruled Lee out for Sunday’s game at the New York Giants even though he suffered a hamstring injury on Nov. 10 in New Orleans that was expected to sideline him for three to four weeks. Lee leads the team in tackles with 115. He also has a team-best four interceptions.

Bottom line: He’s the heart and soul of the defense.
