IRVING – DeMarcus Ware will be under scrutiny Monday after being what Fox analyst Troy Aikman called a “nonfactor” in Sunday’s stunning 37-36 loss to Green Bay.

After vowing last week to return to his Pro Bowl form, Ware recorded only one assisted tackle and one quarterback hit against the Packers.

“I’m always the same person,” Ware, 31, said. “I made some effective plays. At the end of the day, on third down we got to be able to get off the field.”

Ware actually is already under the microscope, according to owner Jerry Jones.

“I watched him a lot tonight, and I watched how he was being blocked tonight,” Jones said after Sunday’s game. “I don’t have an explanation. I will visit some with his coaches and see how he was able to be kept off. The quarterback threw the ball pretty quick, which was a good thing.”

Yes, Flynn did a good job in the second half, completing 20 of 26 passes for 227 yards and four TDs. But that’s no surprise, considering the lack of pressure on him.

“We’ve got to figure out a way to get DeMarcus in there more,” Jones said.
