NEW ORLEANS – The Saints are primetime powerhouse.
Since losing to the Cowboys 24-17 in a Saturday night game on the NFL Network on Dec. 19, 2009, the Saints have won nine straight primetime regular season games at the Superdome.
According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the Saints average margin of victory in those nine games is 35.3-15.2. Overall, the Saints are 13-3 in primetime games during the Sean Payton-Drew Brees era, the newspaper reported.
The Cowboys are vying for their third consecutive win on Sunday night, which would be their longest such streak since winning six from 2007-2008.
