RISING
Kyle Orton: Stood tall in the pocket and delivered a commendable performance. The late interception is on him, but there were plenty of other mistakes that helped doom Dallas.

Offensive line: It didn’t yield a sack against the Eagles. Once a weak spot, it finished the season an area of strength.

Terrence Williams: The rookie from Baylor has a bright future after finishing with 44 catches for 736 yards and five TDs.

FALLING
Jerry Jones: The Cowboys are 136-136 since the start of the 1997 season. Enough said.

Jason Garrett: Game-management skills still very much in question.

Miles Austin: Cutting him after June 1 will reportedly save club $5 million. Decision should be a no-brainer after he finished with 24 catches and zero TDs in another injury-plagued season.
